“The refrigerator [...] took quite a long time to get up to 55 degrees once we set it up, making weird chirping noises the whole time. Once it came up to temp, the chirping stopped. However, if you want to get 28 bottles in it, they better be fairly slim bottles, fatter ones don't fit very well with all the shelves in.”

“My wife and I are newbies when it comes to wine. We recently decided to take some classes, attend wine tastings and become more knowledgeable about good wines. We researched several different wine refrigerators both online and at wine specialty shops. We ended up going with Wine Enthusiast. The cooler we purchased [...] went into our dining room, near a buffet cabinet and it looks very good there. It is also surprisingly quiet!The great thing about this fridge is that it holds 28-750ml wine bottles in a relatively small space. The obvious disadvantage is the distance between shelves is somewhat restrictive. The shelves do slide out to facilitate the moving of bottles, which is nice. We have also purchased wine label tags to hang from each bottle (for vintage, ratings, price range, etc) which makes it easy to select a wine without too much effort (or moving bottles around each time you are looking for a specific wine).We are very pleased with this fridge, and would recommend it highly to anyone. Very good quality for the price!”

“I purchased two units and both work great. They are quiet, attractive, and keep a steady set temperature of 54 degrees. I can fit 28 bottles in each with no problem. I have all reds: Cal. cabs, Spanish tempranillo, & Italian red. Sliding each shelf partially out allows easy storage and removal of a bottle. [...] All in all, a great purchase.”

“I just purchased two of these. Each fits 28 bottles fine. No problem getting bottles in or out; Just move the shelf out halfway. Each shelf slides easily. All I have is reds (Cal. cabs, Spanish tempranillo, Italian reds). Each unit is quiet. You really can only hear it run if the room is perfectly quiet. Easy controls and nice interior lighting. Keeping each unit at 54 degrees works out great. [...]”

“I read the reviews on this product and was concerned about some of the negatives as possibly being deal breakers, but I went ahead and bought it. It's great, people! Let's start with the scratching your labels. If you use your head and pull the shelf out even just a little, lift the bottle properly, you won't scratch your label. Just use some common sense. Would I like the shelving to be a firmer grade of metal? Yes. That will cost you more. Am I willing to pay a little more for that? Yes. I'm all about quality. I drink Cabs and Merlot. I fit 28 bottles with no problem. I wish there was a size for 40 bottles (May have missed that) so I will probably buy another one. That's what I meant by too small. No problems with noise or temperature control.”
