I rarely post reviews but so far this fridge is great. Been running it for a few weeks and no issues. Cheers.

Good - Design, the ability to see the bottles without pulling each one out is excellent. Works pretty much like you'd expect, if you know what to expect. For those upgrading from a very small unit (likely thermoelectric), you may not be ready for the bad - I wasn't: Bad - This is a Compressor (as opposed to a thermoelectric) cooling system. Presented as a plus, because compressor systems last longer and are more efficient at cooling larger spaces, it is basically a small (cheap) version of our larger refrigerators. This means it is loud and can make a variety of strange noises (dripping, squeaking, swooshing of the compressor, etc). These noises are also not consistent like the much quieter thermoelectric cooling systems are, so it can't fade into white noise as easily: the compressor is off, the unit warms to 2 degrees above target temp, compressor kicks on, cools it down 2 degrees, repeat this cycle ad nauseum. If you keep it in a room you are rarely in (banish it), fine, perfect even, but that wasn't an option for me. - Other Bad, read the return policy better than I did, Doh! Required to pay a 20% restocking fee, ok, I was willing to eat that...pay return shipping...ouch!. This small 70lb unit was $180-$220 depending on the carrier I chose, and the return policy said that if the unit had free shipping on the original purchase, they'd charge you for that too, taking it out of the refund. That's right, 20% restocking fee plus shipping both ways is what you eat if you want to return it. That essentially means you get next to nothing back...shame on you Wine Enthusiast...this is the last purchase I'll make at your site.

In order to store a bottle upright there cannot be any bottles in the 2nd bottom tray. Trays are hard to pull out. In order to store 28 bottles (capacity) some have to be laid flat on bottom of cooler. Directions say to not put bottles touching the cooler. Which is correct?

It’s ok for the money but I don’t like the wire shelves They are hard to move not adjustable and don’t pull out all the way Looks are ok lights are bright too bright when you open the door it makes it hard to see what’s in the cooler. Shelf space is tight It’s only been on for about 2-3weeks we will see how long it lasts. Next time I will buy a bigger unit with dual zone and better shelves that slide smooth and that are adjustable Overall it’s an ok value

The unit I got is VERY noisy. The compressor has a high pitch noise. The previous unit I had for 10 years had no compressor but a cooling chip. I had purchased it at Wine Enthusiast as well and was quiet as a whisper. Unfortunately, I was not able to buy another one and had to switch to this one with a compressor. I have to put the TV volume up at times when the unit runs. I would not recommend if the unit were to be placed in your dining room or kitchen area. I am very disappointed.

We have been very happy with our purchase of this wine fridge. It has run very quiet and kept desired temperature. We followed the recommendations on initial startup which probably has helped achieve this result.
