Received my Revelation L Wine cellar promptly after ordering. I would suggest supervising the movers closely - it is a large and heavy unit. My delivery went well down into my basement. The unit itself is beautiful, quiet and dialed in nicely to appropriate temperature and humidity. My only complaint is that it is in my basement where I can't see it. It is definitely worthy of having in a prominent location. Very satisfied with the purchase process, delivery and the unit.

This purchase was LONG overdue. Over the last few years, I had accumulated quite a number of bottles of very good wine. I have a 54-bottle under-counter cooler that did the trick for years. Five wine clubs later, I greatly outgrew the capacity. I had bottles in three rooms literally collecting dust. I needed a high-capacity (for me) wine storage solution. EuroCave was my choice. I looked at different options for months. Almost a year. I finally called Wine Enthusiast to ask for advice. I was probably looking to justify what I wanted, the best. I am completely satisfied with my EuroCave. All of my wine is now properly stored. When it first arrived, my wife was not completely enthused. She thought it was huge. However, as soon as all of the wine came off of the floor and the rooms cleared, she thought it was “very cool. It's sleek, beautiful, functional, and QUIET. I have it set up in the corner of my dining room. It is very near the bedroom. I was concerned about if it would be noisy. (I, unfortunately, am a light sleeper). I can attest that it is remarkably quiet. Almost inaudible. This, is the highest compliment I can give. I look forward to filling this cave with fine wine for years to come.

I really would have liked to have seen in person the various models of Euro Cave, but not being able to, I went for the high-end Revelation because of some features I liked. The black front shelves are classy and work well with my decor, which is important since the unit is in my dining room. I also like the lighting surrounding the interior. The shelves offer great flexibility; although I rarely got 12 bottles on a shelf, it is easy to store pinot and other larger bottles. I am not impressed with the soft-close shelves: they are so slow to close I would rather just push them shut so I can close the main door more quickly and get on to tasting. Finally, the interior does not feel especially high end; the way shelves attach to the body is pretty basic and crude. I had some difficulty replacing shelves that had come loose in shipping, but I am not the handiest personMy understanding is that all these Euro Cave cellars are the same, except for some shelving options and cosmetic details. If so, I'm not sure the higher-end lines are worth the price difference if your unit will not be in a living area. In fact, I wonder if some of the under-$2000 cellars are a better bet for those concerned with cost, especially if you are not storing very expensive and delicate wines.

always had a formal wine cellar but if you are living in a city apartment clearly the next best option.Key factor being: it is very quiet, has an elegant look & conforms to what you need to hold 150 bottles, including magnums

If you are considering this storage unit, you must have a decent collection of wine and/or want a decorative showcase to show it off in your living room. The price was a hurdle for sure, but when I consider the amount I've spent on my collection, it's like a few very expensive cases. That helped me over the financial hurdle. I'd rather spend the money on the wine, but the proper storage and good looks is part of the fun for me in collecting. I now have two of these units, both arrived in perfect condition and I've had no issuers. My first unit is two years old, the second is 2 months old. Nearly silent when they run, perfect hold on set temperature, super nice finish and look with the amber trim lights on. It could not be better. Everyone coming to my house is attracted to them , probably not so great for my collection! The software app is terrible. I made a legit attempt to use it, but don't bother. I rated 4 stars only because of the price and I'd rather buy wine, but no disappointment once you drop the money and have this sitting in your living room. 5 yr warranty and awesome wine enthusiast service are also very positive factors.

Very happy with this wine refrigerator so far. My basement has very wide humidity swings during the year (ranging from 65% in summer to 25% in winter) so I wanted a wine refrigerator that could control humidity. I monitored the temperature and humidity of my basement since I received my wine refrigerator one month ago. I also monitored the refrigerators temperature and humidity inside the refrigerator during that same time. I wrote down these four numbers (temperature and humidity outside refrigerator, and temperature and humidity insides refrigerator) twice a day for a month to see if the refrigerator was doing a good job. The results: my basement stayed at a steady 68 to 69 degree temperature, the the humidity ranged in my basement from 45% to 26%. The refrigerator (set at 59 degrees) stayed between 61 and 57 degrees (so a two degree temperature swing), and the humidity inside the refrigerator stayed between 59% to 52%. I was hoping for a tighter humidity range, but this is a massive improvement over what I had before. I will also experiment with a higher humidity level, like 65% to see if I can accomplish a tighter humidity range. Looking at the data I could not see any correlation between between basement humidity changes and refrigerator humidity changes. For example, if the basement humidity increased or decreased, there was no direct change in the refrigerator's humidity level. If I can in the future I will add more calculations to my review. I bought this wine refrigerator to cellar my wines, not to look pretty, that being said... This is a good looking refrigerator inside and out. When the door is opened and a shelf is pulled out the refrigerator lights illuminate the wine labels. This light is perfect whether you are reading wine labels on the top shelf or bottom shelf. The shelfs slide in and out O.K., not as smooth as my kitchen draws. The adjustments on these shelfs to accommodate different size bottoms are perfect. Very easy to adjust. For most wine bottle sizes you can fit ten or eleven bottles per shelf, not twelve. I did not have to adjust the height between shelfs to accommodate Champagne bottles. The refrigerator is very quiet. I would recommend this refrigerator.

I have had the unit for only a few weeks, so time will tell. It is functioning as anticipated so far. Delivery and set up was simple. It has a substantial capacity, and arranging the individual shelves is quite convenient.
