“The only way to use with any bottle other than a Bordeaux-type bottle is to take out one shelf, thus decreasing the capacity. The shelves are so narrow that they even scrape the labels if one is not careful. Also too shallow for German wine bottles.”

“Having returned from Napa, had bottles of Arietta & Viader & would've been a shame had they not been stored properly. Can't justify storing more than 12 bottles at once - love wine, but we're not THAT "into" it - so bought this relatively small fridge. We love it; small, quiet, and fits on shelf right underneath our liquor cabinet. We did need to take out two of the shelves to fit some of the unusually-sized bottles in, but some bottles can be stacked rather than put onto an actual shelf & that works nicely too. Can't envision a time when we'll need more than this size of 'fridge. Perfect.”

“I owned a 12-bottle Wine Enthusiast cooler in silver that this one replaced. The silver one was not a nice looking as it had hard buttons for the temperature adjustment and a green temperature display. I was very happy with it until it stopped working after about 1.5 years. When researching these types of units it appears that many of them do not last beyond the warranty period. I am hopeful that this new unit will, as it is very aesthetically pleasing--I love that there are no raised buttons and the cool blue color of display. The one complaint that I have about this unit as compared to the silver one I just replaced regards the shelves. These have a quarter inch chrome lip on the front of them that looks nicer than the previous shelves, but makes it very difficult to remove some bottles without sliding the shelf out a bit as well. This motion requires the door to openly fully so make sure you have a little room to the right of the unit to ensure that the door can be opened fully.”

“For the price this is a good product. And also the fact when I first got my fridge the temperature display was messed up the replaced the whole thing with no hassles. And the replacement works great.”

“For an inexpensive, compact, countertop unit that runs relatively quietly, this is a fine product. However, there are clear drawbacks: 1) the shelves are not adjustable at all, and as is, they barely accommodate bottles that are slightly wider than standard-width wine bottles; 2) the cooling seems uneven when fully stocked (some bottles are cooler than others). If the compact size is the most important quality, then this unit will do. If you're looking for something that is customizable and high performance, I'd look for something higher end.”

“Product was part of a Wedding Registry request at a high end department store. After reviewing the product from others I bought it for the couple with hopes that they will find it as pleasing as the other reviewers.”
