“Took me a few years to realize how much I needed this novel corkscrew device. The price has really gone up over the last decade to breathtaking levels, although the Wine Enthusiast Price was much better than most other on-line sellers. So I finally decided to pull the trigger and get myself one of these Durand Wine Openers. I also didn't realize the directions were on the back of the container package until after I used it the first time. Fortunately, I did it correctly and the 24-year-old cork came out in one piece. If you have a lot of bottles that are > 15 years old, then this is an essential tool that you must have to open and enjoy those wonderful aged wines without the drama of shattered corks ruining your experience. Don't wait like i did for the price to drop. It won't!”
