“First, I ordered the gray granite non-monogrammed unit which is essentially the same thing here. It works very well and I hope it lasts for a long time under regular bar use. I will say however that there are some things that could use improvement. The four holes in the base don't line up really well with the support arm. Make sure when putting it together that you insert all four machine screws before tightening them all down. The bottom of the corkscrew clamp has three raised dimples on it's surface, presumably for extra grip. Inexplicably there are no matching recessed dimples in the support arm. If there were dimples the grip on the support arm would be really solid. Unfortunately the way it is means that much of that surface area doesn't get used because of the existing dimples. Very weird. The handle on the corkscrew is also granite and has some sort of hard paint or epoxy coat. This looks and feels fine but the one I received had a crack in the finish. Not a real big deal to me. When originally ordered there was no indication from the online ordering system that there weren't any in stock. I didn't know it was backordered until I received my rabbit cutter, which had a notice inside regarding the rest of the order. Every time I checked order status on the site with my order number it never recognized it. It was a good 4-5 weeks before the order was delivered complete. Again this wasn't a big deal to me but for others who order that might need things in a hurry should probably call and verify stock first. I personally think they should be up front and clear on this when you order online, but stuff happens.”
