“Seems very nice. We'll see how it holds up. The stand and base are very stout but the actual mechanism seems a little like pot metal. The dissapointing thing is that it was so poorly packaged. The base is marble or something similar. Quite heavy. Whoever packaged it tossed a complimentary air pillow in the box which took up ZERO space so the two boxes went flying around inside the large box they were shipped in completely destroying the boxes the product comes in and creating a large hole in the corner of the shipping box. This is a Christmas present so wrapping these was impossible due to the destruction of their boxes. I went ahead and assembled the opener and I'll just hand it to my wife on Christmas. :( It needed to be tested after that journey any way. Anyway... for what appears to be a "high end retailer" its pretty big let down to receive an item shipped like this.”

“Absolutely love it! It’s a shame to call it a cork screw. It’s a piece of my home! Cork comes out with ease and can be put back in with ease. It draws attention whenever anyone comes into my home. Couldn’t be happier! Well worth the investment !”

“Wanted to love this. But it showed up with a broken handle (no way to screw it on). STILL waiting for the replacement, so I can't say what's it's like to actually USE IT yet. Overall, it's nice, but I was hoping for better quality overall than what it is. It is pretty though and looks nice on my bar.”
