These wine racks were exactly what we were looking for. Designed to hold a large amount of wine bottles, light weight, and very sturdy. The rack is of a straight forward, simple to assemble design. A normal size wine bottle fits completely in the rack with no part of the bottle sticking out. If you have some larger size bottles, they can be put on the top of the rack easily for storage. At first, there may appear to be many pieced as you unpack, but the instructions are clear with assembly very straight forward. It is advised to use a drill to set the many wood screws required to assemble. The clutch for the Torque setting on the drill should be set to "low" to make sure the screw is not driven too hard into the wooden crossmembers because splitting could occur.

Ordered two of these - the design was perfect for the basic wine closet I created in my basement but as others mentioned, the manufacturing quality of these are disappointing. Like others I found misaligned holes and splitting. Both conditions caused me to have to do much more drilling than I should have had to. The poor precision also made it more challenging to get the units tight to each other in order to achieve the appearance of a single unit. The instructions are also basic - if you aren’t comfortable filling in gaps in poorly written instructions you might find it more challenging to assemble. The natural finish is also way more inconsistently applied than just natural wood variation explains (run your hand over the pieces - some are better sanded than others). Now that they are assembled I’m happy with them but only because they aren’t in a public display area of my house. Plan on taking a reasonable amount of time to get the assembly right given manufacturing inconsistencies.

I love the product but in assembling the unit, several holes split when I put the screws in. I would suggest a bigger drill bit so the wood won't split.

This is not, by any stretch of the imagination, a high end purchase. We are in the middle of a renovation and needed something sturdy and space-efficient. This foot the bill. They will probably end up in our son & daughters apartments when finished.

The rack is not well designed or manufactured. Some parts do not align. The wood split when installing the supplied screws. And the instructions are terrible.

Solid, attractive, organized and easy to use. We purchased without stain for a more rustic look and encouragement to create more of a wine room instead of just storage

I like the wine rack and it works well and fits perfectly. However, the assembly instructions are not very clear, and the first screw I put in split the wood, so I re-drilled every hole prior to putting the screws in. That worked fine but should not have been necessary. I was warned by several other reviewers when I made my purchase decision.
