“The unit is very sturdy with good overall capacity. It's one limitation is that the rack spacing was designed to fit smaller diameter 750 ml wine bottles. The color of the stain also appears to have a purplish cast in incandescent light. I would recommend going with the natural wood and stain it to your preference for best appearance.”

“The shelves & vertical sides arrived in good condition. The rack was ordered with a stain color. The shelves were correct but the vertical sides came in natural. Wine Enthusiast promptly shipped the correct color to us. Do look for the hardware that is inside the shelf box not inside the vertical side box that says "hardware inside".Wine Enthusiast handled the situation without a problem.”

“Cannot for the life of me get the bottom 4 shelves to settle down on the rods. The rest on top of them while the top of the shelf fits fine.Also, in spite of the promise in the instructions, there are no pre-drilled holes to put in the cross bar.”

“[...] Getting it together was simple, just took a long time as there is a long "bolt" for each shelf (14 total) that needs to be secured on each side of the rack for a total of 28. I bought two (2) and assembled them together using one set of uprights in the middle to save space and this was easy and made the system even sturdier.”
