I initially bought this glass as a gift for my sister-in-law and she loved it so much I asked for it for Valentine's day. What I didn't realize at the time was that I was only ordering one glass. Yes this is a lot to spend for one glass but I absolutely notice a difference in the taste of my wine. It is amazing, even my best friend tried my glass and was completely blown away that you can drink the exact same wine from 2 different glasses and it tastes completely different. I have the Bordeaux and will absolutely be looking for other glasses in this line.

The delivery was quicker than I anticipated. Wonderful delivery service. The product was wrapped very well and very protected in its own box.

I bought one glass for my husband's birthday. After experimenting with it, I knew I had to have my own glass. So rather than taking his birthday gift out of his hands, I opted to place an order for a second Zalto glass, one that I could call my own! We compared a Turley Zin in the Zalto glass with a Riedel Vinum glass. The Zalto glass brought out more flavors than the Riedel (I know, hard to believe!!). The wine also took on more dimension and fullness and even the aromas were more pronounced. I bought this glass because of positive reviews by both professionals and individuals and I was not disappointed. Don't be afraid of its fragile look. I'm just very careful when I hand wash the glass.

One of a kind, paper thin, exquisite. The durability is in question, but I have yet to break one. They appear surprisingly strong for such lightweight glasses.

Although I've read several articles about the importance of good wine glassware, I've always used inexpensive glasses. My skepticism changed when I read a Wall Street Journal article that compared several brands of wine glasses used with several different wines. The writer was skeptical before her experiment, but quickly found that wine tastes a lot better in a Zalto. I found that to be true as well. I usually drink red wines - mostly Bordeaux, Spanish, and Italian. But I first tried this glass out with an inexpensive California wine my brother had, and it tasted great. We were both surprised.

This is a great wine glass for any wine on any occassion. Although it is light and delicate to hold it doesn't feel like it would easily break. The shape is beautiful and functional for enhancing the wine drinking experience. The cost of replacing a broken glass is the only concen my wife and I have when entertaining casually.
