I recently tried the universal glass in Oregon and bought eight. I subsequently bought four of the Bordeaux glass and four of the Burgundy glasses. Interestingly, the Burgundy glasses are much less consistent in shape from glass to glass than the others and have thinner stems.

Pretty much what I expected, extremely light for the size of the bowl. Claims to be dishwasher safe but appears to fragile to me. The narrow top and wide bowl makes cleaning a challenge. The drinking experience rivals the Riedel Sommelier Burgundy glass.

The only glass we use to drink wine in. Bought 2 buying two more. Worth the price.

This is a great glass, as it opens up a wine immediately. It makes it easy to appreciate its nose to the fullest. I really enjoy how it brings out a wine's character. I use it for any wine, for that purpose. Haven't tried a scotch yet, but that is a great idea. The only draw is that it is definitely NOT "diswasher safe" because the glass is so fine/ thin. My wife made the mistake of filling it too full with water and it burst in her hand. Don't fill it more than an inch or so! If it weren't such a spendy glass, I wouldn't have bothered writing a review. It's worth it, but be careful! Enjoy!

We're very impressed by this glass. The unique design with the extraordinarily wide, flat bowl and narrow opening really does make this glass work as a mini-decanter, maximizing the surface area for aeration, while capturing the nose of the wine. We did a taste test of this glass against the Riedel Vinum Burgundy, Riedel Sommelier Bordeaux, Riedel Vinum Bordeaux and Zalto Universal with a younger (2005) Italian red, and this was far and away the winner. At a significantly reduced tariff from Riedel's Sommelier line, this provides both a stunning experience and a comparatively good value.

I've had the glass for a few weeks now and use it often . . .It definitely feels very delicate, and I'm very careful when washing it (I always hand wash all my wine glasses. . don't want dishwasher soap cooked onto them . . yuck . .) but I do love it's thin-ness and is often what I'm looking for in a wine glass. . .I'm hoping it's as durable as they say. . so far so good! Love the look and feel. I have glasses that range from $40 - $200/per glass and this one has become a favorite.
