“Good example of Clare Valley Cab Sav with its savoury notes and not so fruit driven as other Australian regions. In some fine examples notes of tabacco and euchaliptus are present. Great food wine, very enjoyable.”

“I love Clare V cabernet sauvignons and this is an excellent example, full of flavour, big, smooth and easy to drink. Don't agonize about pairing with food, just sit back and sip away while thinking about dinner. And all power to the skilled winemakers at Kingston Estate, every wine from Kingston has been a winner.”

“After receiving a box of the Kingston 2016 Shiraz, and a box of the Kingston 2016 Petit Verdot, the 2019 Cab Sav was a wee bit underwhelming. But, only in comparison. It needed a good breathing (I preferred it the next day) to release the berry flavours. A true blackcurrant. I might have to take back underwhelming as the friends who partook with me simply raved. A good 4 stars.”
