This wine was not a very familiar grape to me but a very pleasant surprise. With agreeable plum & cherry tones & good tannin balance it was most pleasing to the palate, full bodied , yet with a delicacy & subtlety not always associated with Australian red wines. I will be buying some more of this one.

A new wine to me and one that I would buy again.

So good! I lucked in to a case of 2016 (my third!), and am thrilled with this luscious, gorgeous wine. Similar to the Echelon Shiraz in many ways, but those Petit Verdot grapes must have been on the vines for a good long time as this magnificent wine is deliciously sweet, but somehow retains an acceptable dryness. How? No idea. Recommended. 5*

Wow. A friend recommended this unusual variety. Bought a bottle, opened it New Year's Eve - such rich, opulent nectar sip after sip we made a NY Resolution - buy a case! Thanks Wine Central - best buy of 2022 and now 2023

I'm on my second case. After the first case I was waiting for it to appear again, thank heavens it did. It's superb, full bodied, brimming with flavour and a great alternative to Cabernet sauvignon and shiraz. It's a wine to be sipped and savoured. I'd love to see more offerings of this less well known varietal.

The 5 star rating takes the price into account, but in terms of value this is terrific. Lots of evident fruit, restrained tannins, berry flavours and a bit of bottle age. Better, IMHO that similar shirazes, which can be jungle-juice like. Very well made wine... what's not to like? I also think it will age well for at least 5 years more. Will buy again, when I am allowed to.
