“Anyone who knows me knows I do not really like Pinot Noir wines. That is until you hit the $60-100 range, but this Central Otago GOLD DIGGER P/N just blew me away! I do not like the sweet watery strawberry tasting P/N's that most NZ'ers seem to love, I like a darker, more meaty, salami tasting wine, and this GOLDDIGGER was very much to my taste. I may be going overboard with the 'salami' comment, but truly, this is what my taste buds made reference to, on the first sip and thru'out the bottle. Vacuumed and opened the next night, the wine even improved. I think this is a fabulous wine well worth the pittance II paid for it, and my only 5* evaluation so far. Thank you WINESALE!”

“Very good buying at the case rate. Interesting expression of Central Otago pinot noir. First impression is red cherries followed by a pleasant earthy herbal after taste with gentle tannins. I will put aside a few to age for a few more years but drinking very nicely now. Enjoyed trying to identify it from reviews (and succeeded in doing so).”
