“This is an interesting wine - not quite pinot noir, not a cab sauv. Liked the savouriness, but wouldn't be for everyone. Also seems like the fruit dies out quickly.”

“Pinot meunier is of course one of the many pinot noir mutations and is the only other grape variety permitted in Champagne (other than chardonnay and pinot noir). The golden rule of purchasing pinot noir: it's a bitch of a grape and you don't get inexpensive good pinot noir, if the price is too good to be true, probably don't buy it. This pinot meunier breaks all the rules; it tastes like good pinot noir at an astonishingly good price. Savoury, fruity gentle tannins - the best quaffer you will ever buy.”

“I am a Pinot noir advocat and had not tried Meunière so thought I would try it. I received it in hardly any time at all and am now enjoying a gentle sipping in the evenings. Well received. Thanks.”
