“Normally drink Douro red if I have the choice. This was a trial purchase a few months ago and just ordered a full dozen. Easy to drink & not too heavy. Goes with most meals (in our house).”

“I've learnt that wine from the Dao region is more elegant than the rich wines from the Douro and is compared to wine from Burgundy although I wouldn't go that far.”

“Something different, something very tasty. Try this Iberian stunner in place of your shiraz - you won't be disappointed. Slightly reminiscent of some Malbec, but more complex and better value at this price point. Don't buy too many as I'm coming back for a 3rd round!”
