“The reviews for this wine were so good I now wonder whether there’s something wrong with the bottle I have that I bought back in February. The colour is great .. but the bouquet, and the taste are, quite frankly, awful. I’m certainly not getting rock melon, stone fruits, and lemon grass. It’s more like rotten fruit and hot hay. I’m sure my experience of this wine isn’t typical and I do wonder if perhaps it wasn’t chilled enough. I’ll have another go tomorrow when it’s hard a good chance to get properly cold. But right now .. very disappointed.”
