I'm a 5'10" man, weighing about 200 lbs. This is not a comfortable stool unless you sit with your legs straight in front of you and that is not a comfortable way to sit. Once you open your legs, even slightly, to sit in a more comfortable position, the front edges of the seat dig into your thighs making it extremely uncomfortable.

Received his as a gift. Have loved it until today. Today, when I sat on it, the seat cracked and it is no longer usable. Suggest buying one that is more sturdy.

The cheap plastic seat is extremely flimsy...I have broken 2...Woodcraft sent a replacement seat , but now they want me to return the entire to stool for a replacement...This item should not be sold.

At first I loved this stool! It was the most comfortable stool I've ever sat in. The other day it cracked in TWO spots! I only used it occasionally at my sewing table. I am 5'6" and weigh 150lbs. Supposedly it is high density polymer rated at 350lbs. I think they have a problem with its rating and the design, Very disappointed with this purchase!

We bought 3 of these a couple of years ago to use as counter seats in our kitchen. They’re comfortable but the seats on two have already cracked and are unusable. We are definitely well under the weight limit and the chairs get less than an hour of use daily- nothing close to workshop use. Terrible durability.

This chair has worked out well for me until it cracked. I was sitting on it and leaned to the right to get something off the workbench and I fell to the floor. I have been still using the chair, but it’s very uncomfortable. The area where broke digs into my rear end, so I tapped amazon bubble shipping envelopes to it. Works until the bubbles pop. I am 6’3â€

I've had two of these stools and in both cases the plastic seat failed with various cracks over time. It was a practical shop stool while it lasted. No replacement parts available from Woodcraft. Argh ! I'll admit that I'm a 250-lb six-footer, but... Woodcraft: Do it like Sears did in the old days -- provide replacement parts. PS: Based on web searches it looks like the original manufacturer was: Comfort Products: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1328055/Comfort-Products-60-101601.html?page=4#manual

Like many other reviews, I have had cracked or broken plastic parts on this stool, which is disappointing. However, Woodcraft customer service has stepped up first to replace a cracked seat and now a broken back rest both at no cost to me. These folks set the bar for courteous, timely customer service and product warranty. Thanks. I will be back to do business with Woodcraft. Glenn--Baton Rouge
