“Each caster is rated at 110# and the box says 440# per set which is simple math. But physics says that if you have one of these each mounted on the corner of a 400# workbench, when you press on one of the foot pedals to raise a corner, it is bearing 200# because the workbench doesn't flex (when one leg is raised another will have to rise with it). So this set is really only good for a workbench of about 200# total, not 400#. This bit of physics didn't become obvious until I attached a couple of the casters and tried one to see how it worked. The bench didn't budge and the plate holding the caster bent. The good news is that Woodcraft will accept the return and refund my purchase price. So the product gets 1 start and Woodcraft will continue to get my business.”

“Rob Cosman has a “cosminized” version of these casters with reinforced steel at the weak spot. Highly recommend!”

“I purchased these quite awhile ago and finally got around to putting them on the new workbench I am building. At first they worked fine, but after moving the bench a few times the plates the wheels are mounted on bent. It is now very hard to move the bench. I can lift the end of the bench so it is well within the weight limits for this product. Would not recommend them.”

“Bought these for my outfeed/assembly table. The table is well under 400 lbs. 1 of the four caster supports bent as soon as weight was put on it. The steel is very week. Hammered it back to straight. Put weight on it and it bent again. Disappointed”

“Please listen to the other reviews that talk about how these are not as strong as advertised. I added these to my Sjoberg Elite 2500 bench (approx. 330lbs). The metal bent on the first use and now no longer works. I wish I had listened to the others. Wood River needs to revamp/respec this item.”

“I bought these to put on my empty Sjoberg Elite 2500 bench (approx. 330lbs). Easy to install however the wheel plate bent on the very first use. Now I have to figure out if I want to return these or have a fabricator make a new, higher quality wheel plate. Wood River needs to reengineer/respec/revamp this set. Before purchasing, please listen to the other reviews about low bench weight and steel quality. I wish I had.”
