I've been making these knives for some time now and sell them at craft sales and retail outlets along with a cutting board an a little stand for storage in the kitchen. I cut the notches for the blade on the router table and use 3mm mosaic pins for the assembly. All in all, 5 stars

I've been using these to make Ulu knives for years. I've never had an issue with them. I only wish Woodcraft would offer some kind of deal on buying multiples as we aren't all buying just one or two of these. I must go through 75-100 of these a year so a discount for larger orders would be greatly appreciated from Woodcraft.

Blade is nice however there are no instructions on how to put them together which would be helpful especially for a beginner.

I like the kitchen but I used brass ribbits To put the handles on gives the vintage look, still a very good kit

Blade is nice. The fasteners are worthless. Very small. Poor fitting wrench. You need 2 wrenches. The head on the fastener is too shallow to allow the wrench to fit in and make a solid contact. Will have to find alternative fasteners for the next build. Does not include rivers as described.

I use these often when making my ulu knife and bowl sets. They were a little troublesome at first but after assembling a few it's very easy. Would like to see more of a discount when buying multiples though as the once a year sale they have on these just doesn't seem to be enough, though I am very grateful when it does happen.

I've been making and selling Ulu knives for close to 10 years. Probably made over 50 of them. I get the blades from two different suppliers. I bought 10 of these when they were on sale since they were a few bucks cheaper than my suppliers. NOT WORTH THE SAVINGS! the blades themselves are a bit chintzier than my current suppliers but all in all are OK. The instructions and rivets are absurd! They are so small I couldn't even hold them and the hole making requires more precision than a Swiss watch! I'll be using traditional knife making procedures and pinning them with brass or nickel rods which will put the cost about the same as my current supplier. Doubt if I'll buy them again.

Cheap little thing... Couldn't even add 2 thin brass pins... You guys won't print this because your afraid of honest opinions... This is cheesy

This kit ships with two stainless steel binding rivets to help attach the scales. We recommend use of epoxy as well as the rivets to attach the scales.
