I ordered two of these not knowing what to expect. very pleasantly surprised, with both the weight of the knife and the Quality. I had intended to use them for filling out some of my woodcraft at a local art fair I'm involved with, but now I might keep them and give them to my kids for christmas...

The blade is nice, sharp, graceful ... but assembly of the handle is impossible given the minute tolerances of the required holes and the tiny, tiny size of the screws. the angled torques that come with the blade are clumsy and useless. this design could be so greatly improved by making the holes in the blade larger and allowing for different fasteners. i ve purchased 3 blades; had what i thought were beginner's troubles with the first one, the second one was a bit easier, not great, and the third just went south into "forget it and come back to it" frustration. there are other knife blades on the market with larger holes that are much easier to work with. Caution: they may have a different radius. i will not buy one of these blades again, given there are alternatives.
