I would rate this 4.5 if possible. I just installed this table on my old Delta 17-900 model 16-1/2" floor drill press and am very pleased with the result. The table is solid, sturdy and just the size I needed. The fence and stops are satisfactory and I added a couple of Wood River hold-downs. I have often considered adding a larger table to my press and this was a great value at the sale price. My only ding is that while the factory 6mm bolt holes did line up with the press table slots they were clustered to the rear third around the front to rear centerline. My preference was for a more substantial 5/16"-18 a wider spread and this was easily achieved by installing four inserts for that size. I used a 7/16" brad point for the required pilot, drilled to a 3/4" depth for the 1/2" length inserts and used 1" bolts with fender washers. Torque with care. I found that, for my press, aligning the rear of the Wood River table to the rear of the Delta table worked well though I could have gone back another 1/4" on the top table.

40 years I’ve used my drill press without a table. For less than the cost of materials, WoodCraft built one for me! Lots of talk about no mounting bolts and metric threads. I countersunk and drilled four holes for 5/16” carriage bolts at locations perfect for my drill press table and nearest the outside edges of the table producing a much more stable mount. Took less than 30 minutes, and that includes the time to dig up the hardware.

Real Happy. I assume Wood River listened and changed the underside threads to 1/4. Granted I paid a LOT more than some of the comments below ($145 on 4/22/24). I bought M6 screws based on the previous reviews and they did not work. I keep 1/4”, 3/4” length and they worked perfect. Granted I only got 2 holes to work with my round cut pattern. If it becomes unstable with use, I’ll figure something out.

I had to install new inserts in my table since the Porter Cable drill press had a solid metal table and I had already drilled holes for a temporary wood table. I agree it seems very strange that the doesn’t come with at least one standard set of bolts and that the inserts are 6mm. I have only used the table a couple of times so far and it is very good quality for the price. The t channels are solid, well mounted and top is smooth and solid.

Was no mention as to screw size needed. Made 3 trips to hardware store to find out it was M6 screws needed. For the price, screws should've been provided. Wasted 3 hrs trying to find what I needed..

Yeah, sure, I give it 5 stars -- the table is flat, properly CNC machined, the surface coating and edging are tough and attractive, the hardware is well-spec'd and of good quality, the extruded tracks are smoothly finished and nicely anodized, the flip-stops are solid, well-built, easy to slide and set and use, and the metric/inch rule is easy to read and appears to be well-adhered -- BUT -- Why the 6M mounting inserts, instead of 1/4-20, especially when, as another reviewer mentioned, all the other hardware on the thing is standard??? And why no mention of this fact anywhere in the literature? If you're not going to include mounting bolts, at least print up some stickers to inform the eager installer, and thereby save him or her multiple trips to Lowe's, or mucking up the threads by forcing an almost identical 1/4-20. A small nit on an otherwise solid product -- glad to have it, and I hope this detail gets attended to.
