“The black is very good. Cusomization was very nice. On some panels both sides are exposed and we should have asked about ways to minimize the exposed staples.”

“A few things that could be improved: 1) A 9 inch Z Bar would be better than using two Z Clips to hang the 12 inch wide panel. A 12 inch bar is not suitable because it would be visible on the edges of the panel. 2) A more substantial backing is needed on the edge of the panel where the Z Bar is mounted. 3) Shipping costs on the customizable panel size is considerably more expensive than the shipping cost for the standard size panel, even though the one that I ordered was not that much bigger. Thank you.”

Hi George, Thanks for the feedback. The frame of our panels is made of 1/2'' plywood, which is more than adequate for even our largest panels. The shipping cost will fluctuate and increase based on the size of the panels. Unfortunately, larger panels have become more and more expensive to ship over the years but we offer our discounted shipping rate from FedEx to all of our customers. “Love the tile; HATE the ceiling mounting hardware provided. Our builder has a talented crew, who attempted to use the slide-mounted hardware shipped with the 4x4 ceiling tiles we ordered. They spent a day in their attempt, and scratched the ceiling up, as the hardware has to be flush with the ceiling to slide in, and it marks the paint. Finally, we went to the hardware store and got some L brackets to hold the panels. They went up in a few hours. The panels are doing their job to diminish the echo in our 15' ceiling great room. They blend into the ceiling as well.”
