“I had the BACtrack for about 3 years and it worked perfectly. Decided it was time to get it calibrated. The process was simple to do online and just print out the sheet to include with the unit shipping back. $19.99 wasn't charged until the unit was calibrated and ready to return to me. Process takes about a week and came back with new batteries, 5 mouth pieces, and in the plastic clam and zipper case. This is a first class operation.”
“This is my 4th unit purchased over 2 years. Unfortunately this device doesn't provide any 100% accuracy having no calibrations. After 1 year they possibly do not provide any reading for an unknown reason because they require to be resend for calibration... Payment to sent it and get it recertified for my isn't worth it and would be most likely more expensive. A calibration instrument with the device would definitely be a great asset.

“I bought the original unit in 2012 and used it sparingly. I never gave a thought to recalibrating it until a few months ago when it stopped reading anything. I contacted the company but since it was so long out of calibration (they recommend once a year) they weren't able to recalibrate it. They were very nice though and gave me a nice credit towards a new unit. This one I will have calibrated yearly (19.99). As far as I could tell the unit was accurate up until it stopped working.”
