“This is my 2nd BT device. First one was an S70 which lasted about 3 years before it couldn't be recalibrated anymore. Replaced it with the Pro-Series which I hope will prove as easy on batteries but more durable than the Elite series.”
“I was very impressed at Bactrack's willingness to stand behind their products. I sent in a unit that was not able to be calibrated, and Bactrack sent me a replacement unit with no hassle whatsoever. I was so impressed with their service that I bought another one for my niece as a Christmas gift.
The unit I have is the S80 Pro. When I first bought it I sat down with a BAC chart and put it to the test (purely scientific reasons of course!). I made sure to wait at least 20 minutes before taking samples and this thing was right on the money. After that I always carried it in my car when I went out. Not only was it a great tool for me, but I've asked many tipsy friends to blow in it before driving home and probably saved them DUIs or worse. I will always have one of these going forward..”
“I've had my S80 for a few and knew it needed a calibration. So - a few years on, bit the bullet and paid the money. Seems that my unit didn't meet spec so it needed replacement. I only discovered this when an entire new unit arrived. Impressive service. These guys obviously care about the product and, I suspect, the customer.”
“We have an S78 and S80 Pro that we keep in our cars at all times. I can't imagine why anyone would not have one when the cost is nothing compared to the cost of a DWI or worse, injuring someone.
We recently sent them back for recalibration. They were unable to recalibrate and Bactrac sent us new ones and only charges for the cost of one calibration.

“I bought this tester to keep me safe.. In our area there was an increase in local and state patrol cars hiding and trying to catch us off guard at closing time at our clubs at Buckeye Lake. As a rule in my evening,I only have 3 drinks and I usually blow 0.03-.04 with my BACtrack S80. Knowing I am always under our limit, and it puts me at ease when I am driving after a few beers. I have never been stopped by the law, and you never know when it can be your turn. This one night after a great time at the Amvets, the night was cold and pretty dark. I was heading home, doing the speed limit, talking to my son on my cell. All of a sudden the red and blue lights were in my mirrors and my stomach dropped. Of course it was our friendly state trooper. I will try make this story short.So he put me through his routines. He then asked me why I was shaken so much. I replied I was cold and nervous, so he brought out his breathalyzer. I blew 0.03 and I proceeded to explain that I blew 0.04 before I started for home. Of course he wanted to see my breathalyzer. Mine looked almost the same as his. He was impressed with my BACtrack S80, we spoke for several minutes,he then gave me a warning ticket for going across the double yellow lines. What a great investment.I then turned off my flashers and headed for home. What a great story I now had to tell everybody. They all asked where they could get one and for other family members...A very inexpensive tester to prevent that 3 nights in the pokey and to set your mind at ease while driving..You should purchase one or more, you won't regret it..I certainly didn't....”
