“The employees kept in contact with me about my purchase and when there was an issue with the calibration they contacted me and gave me updates. They then helped give me a discount on a new product. Very helpful and reliable.”
“I recently had this device calibrated within the past 60 days. And it now reads 0.000 on all blows regardless. It no longer can pick up a reading, regardless of alcohol consumption and has failed me.”
“The readings varied. I used it on my friend with three readings within minutes of each other and it read.17/.16./18. We tried this on 2 petite women and they could not create a strong enough breath to register. It takes too much of a breath sample to register for small women.”
“My organization recently purchased 8 of these devices, and they have performed as reasonably as you'd expect for a hand-held "blood chemistry sensor." We've been using each one about 20 times per week for 1-2 years, and haven't had many problems. Last month, one of them started reading 10x higher than it should (verified with another unit), so we sent it in for the ~$30 "recalibration". Turns out they sent us back a new one instead of the same one, so I don't know what that means for the status of the original. Overall, a good unit for basic monitoring of BAC, but not super accurate/precise.”
