“bought the backtrack 80 used 5 times misplaced it when I moved found itthree years later it did not work so I sent it in to have it calibrated they could not calibrate it good money wasted on an inferior product”
“Bought an element off ebay. Sent it in for calibration...they were unable to calibrate so they sent me a brand new one. Took about 5 days return to canada and BACtrack covered return shipping cost. Very satisfied!”
“I love this thing, I got a DUI so it's necessary for me to have one in order to make sure I don't get another one. Everything was perfect, till I had to send it in to get recalibrated. I sent it in with the soft case that it came with and when it was returned, the soft case was not there. I understand that they deal with a lot of orders, but still... what am I supposed to carry it in now. I have to buy another case. Second thing is that I feel like it worked better before I sent it in. I used to be able to use it multiple in a row with a 10-20 second window of wait time. Now after one use, it's a minute. Kinda unfortunate. Still love the product though. Closest accuracy you're going to get to a police scanner.”
“The unit is taking anywhere from 14 to 30 seconds to produce a reading. This was the same time frames that the unit gave just before it gave inaccurate readings last time. I am afraid the unit is going to break at any moment, it has been used 10 times since returned”
