“I came into this expecting another very process-driven course on What To Write, i.e. step-by-step guides on building a character, or a world, or a plot. I thought I'd need to set aside "studying" time, with a notebook and practical exercises to be followed.
To find that this was more How To Write, talking about the magic of storytelling, the power of language, the impact of rhythm, the importance of knowing yourself in order to know what you want to write... This is a far more inspiring course than anything else I've experienced, and I've been glued to it in much the same manner as a captivating series on TV: "Just one more episode... Just one more..."
