“Alan Moore has been one of my favorite writer for a long time (comic books, music and novels). I love his sense of humour, his wit, his endless different ways to write and his hypnotic voice that makes you listen to him for hours without losing attention. His open mind and his long experience (and success) make him a perfect teacher to get better at writing. He can be straight to the point as he can go more into details with great examples from his own body of work or from other great (or unknown) writers. It's a perfect way to learn many tricks but also to understand that this is hard work and great devotion to come. I would recommend him to anyone who wants to become a writer, whatever the style or the genre. As a French speaking artist, I find this course very easy to understand with the subtitles (thank god!) since he has a very strong Northampton accent (ha!). I hope to be able to write more in English and in French as well. I really love the format (8 min-20 min) and it's nice to come back to some lessons whenever I want.”
