“Moore has a fresh, clear take on writing that is more of a useful philosophy that expands your skills. Far more valuable than a "how-to" like you can get anywhere.”

“I am a Flemish published writer, but started writing professionally rather late in my life, so I'm also old. Growing in any kind of skill takes time, and because my time is limited I try to expand my knowledge and consciousness with sort of canned experience from others. Alan Moore is without any doubt a good place to be. If you don’t mind looking up to a level of talent beyond reach, he‘s the guy you want to be with. I write fiction, love writing fantasy, but face the odd non-fiction story as well when someone chooses me to write it. Alans course helps me with any of them. You ask what you can improve? Well, I would like to have Alan Moore in my head, permanently. It’s not just the learning, it’s also about the smiles.”

“170 advice, the storytelling within his storytelling advice, is hilarious, insightful, succinct, direct--embodied all the qualities I felt were lacking in so many of my courses with the U.S.'s Masterclass. I knew I would enjoy this course, simply because of my fondness for Moore and his work, and was still surprised at how delightful it's proven to be. Going to avidly recommend this. If he did another, I'd buy it in a flash.”

“As a long time fan and admirer of Alan Moore this course is on par with finding out there are gold deposits in the earth beneath my home. There's nothing I could imagine being more valuable or insightful that could improve your courses... other than say resurrecting a zombie version of William Shakespeare and having him do one.”

“Alan Moore talks about his craft with amazing lucidity that hints at a mind disciplined by many years of training. His lessons are often life lessons, as he supports the theory that to make the writer you have to make the person. His anecdotes are an insightful and fun way to space out lession milestones and to pepper interesting reads. I never listened to a more clear and concise, yet deep and thought provoking exposition of what it is to be a writer, what is the best way to get started and what it is that you are bringing into the world and society by writing a book.”
