Edgar Wright is one of the most brilliant and creative directors of our time. What a privilege to hear him dissect his process on the creation of many of my favorite films. He also gives very practical advice and points to other resources throughout. This class is very well done and I feel like there are some universal applications that could can be used in daily life.

I’m a teacher of presence, a seasoned, midlife, menopausal ‘disruptor' with rich life experience, untainted by formal film industry grooming, two self-published books, and the boldness to adapt own work into a TV pilot and movie-his journey fascinated me.

EW is a great presenter, fluent and straight talking. he lets you know how much work is involved in making film but also the joy of realising it.

I puzzled about whether to say I would recommend the course. Not that the content is not helpful or not substantial, but quite the opposite! The course is jammed packed with useful information about Filmmaking that is understandable to even a beginner, but I'm sure that it's also invaluable to anyone who is more experienced as well. Edgar clearly kn ows his stuff and - whilst he does draw from his own route to success (and occasionally repeats himself) what he has to say is still valuable and does not suffer by the repetition. There is so much in this course that, for me, I don't think I'm going to make it through. BBC Maestro does not have a Roku App and this course is so intense and demanding that without being able to relax to view it on my TV, it's just too tiring. I don't know if screencasting is an option but in any case I can't use a mobile phone due to my disabilities, so that's not a option for me either. So I will probably have to take up my right for a refund on BBC Maestro - despite the fact that ther are many other courses I would like to follow through.

This course is beautifully captured and edited, which makes it a breeze to follow and wonderful to watch. The teaching and stories you get to listen to, told by a top tier professional for just a tiny fee is absolutley mind blowing. We are very blessed and privileged in todays world that we get access to this level of content, which would be unheard of before. Highly recommended.
