Lee Child is very interesting and gives useful advice along the way. I'm a great fan of his Reacher books. I have written various kinds of things in the past which have been published and would like to try my hand at a popular fiction novel and following this course will have been useful.

I’m half way through this course by Lee Child and very much enjoy it. I’ve never written a book but I would like to give it a go. The course is understandably focused on writing a book series. After all, it’s about writing “popular fiction”.

Lee writes from heavy practical experience. He debunks several superficial wisdoms Despite the pop subject, he was educated in classics and law - no fool. His initial thoughts on what should be his hero's character and world were perceptive. He has built on an enormous bulk of reading of other successful books in his genera.
