“Lee child's, an obviously successful writer (ive read all of the reacher books more than once and am now fixated on the amazon series)
He explained reader expectation and how he breaks the story down in order to engage the maximum audience. This helped in the understanding successful novel construction, however, i found (unlike his novels) the constant repetition of the "Point" in each lesson to be irritating and had me wanting to fast forward. I still felt that the course was worthwhile but was really not expecting a lecture broken into bit size pieces. For me, as an information source, ten out of ten, but spreading out of that information 5 out of 10”

“My first thought is how generous Lee Child (and Jed Mercurrio and Harlan Coben) is. There is no reason for him to take the time to allow us to learn from him. It does not increase his fortune or fame. Lee Child (and the others on Maestro) confirms what the greatest man who ever lived said, "There is more happiness in giving than in receiving." Lee Child must be very happy because he has given me and others very much.”

“What an amazing course given by Lee Child!
I have not read any of his books but given his reputation, I thought I'd try it. I originally joined BBC Maestro for a bread baking course but time constraints meant I couldn't commit to baking. Since I enjoy writing and, like so many, have a book I'm working on, I took this course. Wow! It's 8 hours of highly detailed lessons on how he wrote his books, why he writes like he does, and every aspect of writing a book. My own book is nothing like his genre, but the information Lee Child has given me is invaluable and applicable to my own.”
