“Wow! The course is amazing, thought provoking and you can’t help but feel inspired to write and create your own poetic expression once you’ve listened to Carol Ann Duffy. It’s such an accessible course if you have always been curious about poetry and Carol gives you the confidence to push from thinking about writing, to actually putting pen to paper. It’s opened up a lovely new world for me, which I’m enjoying immensely. Thank you Carol!”

“The course is suitable for me even as a non-native English speaker. Although my English is not perfect, I was able to follow the explanations well, thanks also to the subtitles. Ms. Duffy speaks slowly and thoughtfully, allowing her ideas to sink in before she moves on. She gives many examples, exclusively from English-language literature. However, the content is universally valid and transferable to all languages.
The course is beautifully filmed. You feel as if you are in a literary salon, comfortably listening to Ms. Duffy’s explanations while enjoying a glass of whisky. The division into short chapters is sensible and practical, and the materials provided are also very nicely designed and useful. The entire process was easy and worked perfectly, allowing me to get started right away. I watched most of it on my phone, though I’m sure it looks even better on a computer.
In short: The course is highly valuable, inspiring and motivating, and it was absolutely worth it for me. I am happy to recommend it.”
