Best writing course I’ve done so far. I really liked the fact that Ken covers prose style which the two previous courses didn’t really touch. Also, the in-depth re-write plan was something I hadn’t considered before. All in all, an excellent course. Thanks Ken!

I love this class. Mr Follett shares information regarding story and character developement, finding representation and forming good writing habits. He is a great story teller, wonderful instructor and brillant mind. I have reviewed some lessons two and three times because once I get distracted by the story regarding his research, exchanges with other incredible authors or the book he refers to in his lesson. I just stopped to go read his book "Never" and tomorrow I will resume the course. I've read most of his other stuff including an essay on Notre Dame after the recent fire.

I'm just about to start lesson 10 and was worried this wonderful course would be over soon. I have absolutely loved it so far, I've never read anything by Ken but that will be rectified. His way of explaining everything is perfectly paced, and I'm blown away from the shear amount he is sharing with us. I already know that the outline I had done was far too basic, I hadn't appreciated that I should have put more effort into characters backstories just so that I could understand them. His folders of research make my own research look even more disorganised than I already knew they were. I hope her never, ever gets to meet me because I'm sure I would absolutely chew his ear off.

I am not done with the course yet but I do love it so far. Ken Follett is not just a great author but also great in presenting. The themes/topics are very interesing - and relevant - nicely presented and as a listener you never have a doll moment. This course makes you want to sit down directly to work on your own writing piece. So far I am half way (don´t want to finish it of to quick... the course is like a bonbon that you want to keep for a while :-). And I have learnt a lot! Especially about the outline/outline to draft, the first sentence and the character sections. The section about getting an agent / publisher might be coming a bit early for a not published writer/ rookie I guess. For an published and established author I suppose you start/maintain these contacts early in a project. However, as a listener you can of course listen to the sections in the sequence you like. Additonally Mr Follett has a very pleasent voice and enjoyable to listen to. So I am very happy with purchasing the Ken Follett course.
