“At first I wasn’t sure but as he went along he helped me realized the importance of my research and how people like to learn something about history. That changed my frustration of thinking I had too much research. Now I can weave it into the story. I loved him!!! I think I would do well with an outline. It may help me move my writing faster. He also gave me an idea about history of women’s right to vote in 1915 and how I can use it for the serial killlers of that time although they really don’t know of serial killers in that time other then Jack the Ripper.”
“Good classes, but horrible software.
I use a Samsung S24 Plus, and the video lessons keep restarting and behaving strangely all the time. It feels like BBC Maestro did not have money for beta testers.
Maestro should have been properly tested before being pushed out to the market, especially when the service is this expensive.
And one more thing I forgot to mention: Chromecast does not work properly either. It is so unstable that I have basically stopped using it.”

“It is a very interesting class. Ken Fallet has an excellent way of explaining how writing should fall into the creative writing aspect of a novel or.a book about fantasy. Excellent classes I did not waist my time. I highly recommend it. .”

“I’m really appreciating this one. I appreciate that. He’s not so arrogant that every single example is from his own book. I find it incredibly respectful to reference other great novelist. I also love that he brought his granddaughter on to talk about the current process.”

“It's not very organized. Most of what he passes on is basic stuff someone who has read any books on writing would have already heard multiple times. There was very little concrete teaching going on here. Lots of stories about how many books you have sold and how many people admire his writing”
