“This course made me feel inspired and motivated to create great work. I got a great refresher course on graphic design history from the beginning of time through to today. My favorite thing about this course is hearing how Paula speaks about work she admires and appreciates. I would recommend this course to people curious about graphic design, anyone working in the visual creative industry, and even people interested in art history.”

How would you rate the course based on skills & knowledge learnt?
“I was very excited about this course however it did not by any stretch deliver. The instructor is one of my all time favorites but it’s not practical. Lots of looking at books and talking about her experience. Def. Very expensive for what you will walk away with. And I love BBC content. Was very surprised that the production and trailer were so well done but the content wasn’t helpful.”

“I absolutely loved seeing her progression of work from client needs to initial sketches to the final design. It was fascinating to hear the role of logo and design work in a multifaceted organization and how they help empower people to do quality work when they aren’t the people with the say on design etc. Her review of the history of graphic and book design was intriguing and I loved seeing the through lines through history.”
