“Harlan certainly has the expertise and savvy when it comes to writing a thriller novel. I enjoyed this course for the first few modules. I found some of the later ones were not as intensive and focused too much on Lee's works, without going into any real depth in his writing process, let alone additional expansion on the craft. I found his interview with his agent a little self-serving and there was very little to learn in such modules - which focused on his works.”

“I've been watching all of the writing courses and I love how each writer has a different take on the essentials. Every writer has been upbeat and positive, while still imparting how tough the writing life is. I enjoyed Harlan Coben's course because of his energy and his 'NY' attitude (even tho he's from NJ). He made it particularly clear how much he draws from the personal aspects of his life. It was interesting to see how he takes disparate plot lines and blends them together.”
