“I purchased this jack for my Porsche, unfortunately the jack didn't raise the car enough to remove the wheel without putting a block of wood or something under it. I wanted to keep it in the car but adding a block to raise it up defeated the purpose of a small jack. It's really well built, but needs 4-5 inches more lift. I returned it.”
“I've been looking for a very low profile jack with a descent lift height for 3 years and have finally found this one. This is THE jack to have when a very low profile is required. It's easy to use, very small and light weight and does the job easily and effortlessly. Go ahead and search - you will not find a comparable jack anywhere. Thanks for bringing this jack to market. Oh, and CCCC customer service is second to none!”
“This thing is awesome, nicely designed, beautifully machined, and perfect for my little aluminum bodied car. I have two suggestions for improvement. 1) Stick a thin rubber layer on the bottom. I did this to mine and it protects the bottom from getting scratched up and adds a little extra friction for safety. 2) add a slot to hold a 5/16 rarcheting combination wrench; I can almost fit a wrench in with the existing design except for the large button head screw that holds on the saddle. A small change would make it possible to slip a wrench in a slot and keep the wrench with the jack in its case.”
“If there is a cooler scissor jack out there I'd be very surprised. This is a beautifully engineered piece that looks great and works too. Some light lubrication of the screw thread is advisable though...”
“I use this jack to lift 600 pound freezers 4 inches up on one side so I can reach under them to loosen bolts. The jack works best with a 3/8" ratchet so you can get the best leverage on the drive screw. The safety factor of using this jack is worth the price to purchase. A few drops of oil at the pivot points helps the jack perform.”
