“I love the Fly12Sport for its camera - the image quality is really good and performs well even in darker surroundings. The light is dping OK - I wish there were more options to set the brightness, but it's working fine.
That said, I have two massive complaints - both of them almost lead me to return the Fly12, as they make usage really dificult and are annoying me every single time I'm using it:
1. The mount: Why on earth would you come up with your own mounting system that looks like the well establinshed Garmin 1/4-turn mount, but is so very much inferior to it? Handling it is a pain, the plastic material is very cheap and already got its first dents the very first time I ised it, it can only be twisted one direction, ... all that on top of the fact that you need to fix yet another mounting system on your handlebar if you switch between multiple lights?!
2. The transfer: In this day and age it's unacceptable that the recorded clips can't be transferred from the Fly12 to my phone wirelessly. Your rear camera can do it, why not your front flagship product? Is this just a way to sell your microSD card reader? Yet another accessory I'd have to carry with me? Very very disappointing - the Cycliq app is almost useless...”

One of the biggest advantages is the sense of security it provides. If I had to mention a downside, it would be the method for exporting data. Currently, transferring videos often requires connecting the camera via cable or removing the SD card, which feels a bit outdated. It would be great to see a more modern solution in the future, like seamless Bluetooth or WiFi transfers, so that files could be accessed without physically connecting the camera or removing the memory card.
Overall, the Fly12 is a fantastic investment for anyone who cycles regularly and values both safety and convenience. With just a few improvements in data connectivity, it would be nearly perfect!”
