“I owned the original fly12 and fly6. I recently purchased both again. I've ridden about 5 rides so far with the new cameras (and I do not use the built-in lights). The Fly12 is good, but out of 5 rides I've lost the video twice because I think the micro-SD card was not seated properly. It is difficult to get the SD card pushed in just right. Also, the 64GB card is enough for short rides but for my long rides a 128GB card would be better.”
“This is certainly an improved design from the previous versions of the Fly12 and appreciate that the battery life and memory have been upgraded. It is noticeably lighter than the previous versions although wifi connectivity does not seem to be an option with my Garmin but assume this is to extend battery life?”
“Does everything a safety camera needs to do and still the best on the market. Love the new organic light pulse mode. Appreciate the new silicon case and lens protectors. Cannot give five stars because even the dimmest light setting is still blindingly bright for other pedestrians. Roads and motorists are not bike friendly in my area so I often use the footpath when traffic is thick. Regular common bike lights are nowhere near as bright as the dimmest setting, and I just wish there were a pedestrian-friendly light level setting.”
“I think it's an essential product to have while riding a bicycle. However, I wish it had a feature to view the recorded videos on a smartphone without any wire to connect to.”
“Video is good and camera is easy to use, but the wind noise is excessive, and actual recorded voices are rather soft and low. Decided to return the camera.”
