“Had the fly 2 about 2 years now and has never let me down love the light in the camera which saves space on the bars and the camera has come in handy when a guy hit my friend I now use it in my car and the customer service is excellent when I broke my fly 2 they send a new one with in 10 days just love this product and the battery last a 4/5 hours ride easy”
“My unit had a slight failure. Contacted Cycliq and they were very responsive in replacing my unit with a new unit. Fantastic support and honoring the quality of the product. Would recommend 100% to others. This is my secong generation of Fly camera.”
“My Fly sport burns about 15% of its battery in two hours and appears to have a recording time of nearly 7 hours. Longest battery support I’ve seen. This is not true if you run the light as the extremely bright beacon burns battery. (I have alternative lights on really long trips.) The transfer and editing of files on my PC was easy and seamless and the connectivity to the Cycliq app on my phone is superior to my Garmin with its app. Highly recommend this camera for front facing recording.”
“The quality of the videos and picture clips are excellent . The battery life is long compared to other front facing cameras. Overall a superb camera.”
“The hardware is perfectly fine, would love the image quality to be a bit better in low light but it's generally good enough to pick out a license plate which is the main thing.
The software side is where I find this to be lacking. To review my footage I have 2 options:
- Connect the camera to a computer and use the desktop app
- Buy the OTG card reader and manually transfer footage onto my phone in order to review and edit footage.
If I can connect to a PC and transfer footage over a cable, why can't I do the same thing on my phone? Also, why do I have to do this manually rather than through the app? It's a shame that this doesn't have the same wireless transfer capability as the Fly6 Pro but if it doesn't have the hardware required then that's fair enough, but the clunkyness of the process of transferring and reviewing footage leaves a lot to be desired. I really hope this can be improved with firmware and software improvements in future.
Overall it serves the purpose I bought it for, and in the event of a serious incident I will use the desktop app, but there is plenty of room for improvement.”
