However, the Gen 3 would be perfect if it had more battery capacity - I am only using the recording facility and the run time is about 3 hours. Most of my rides are more than 3 hours. “This is a great small and light weight light/camera. Video quality is enough to see small details such as license plates. the light is bright enough to alert any cars around. I typically only use this as a rear light in the dark days of winter. The only thing I think that could be improved upon is battery life. When doing those long rides (60-100 miles) I find myself charging at a stop. Although I will say it charges really fast.”
