“I have the GEN2 which has become a little erratic so upgraded.
The good - the size and weight are a big improvement over the previous model; have only done 2 hour rides so haven't fully tested the battery but I expect it'll be solid, even the GEN2 was good when doing 4 hour rides; footage is good quality and stable on road
The bad - silicone cover, feels like it will protect the camera better but it's a right pain for charging. The glass inserts fall out and you basically install everything each time you charge so this wasn't thought through in design; the included mount is so hard to attach so using old mount”

“The resolution of the camera is great. The image stability is fine for road usage. The sensitivity of the mic is also not problem. However, the Gen 3 would be perfect if it had more battery capacity - I am only using the recording facility and the run time is about 3 hours. Most of my rides are more than 3 hours. Otherwise no problem.”
