Video: Running 1080 @ 30fps - not too different from Gen 2 - can be a little dark and grainy. I get flaring when cyclists behind me have front lights on (can't do much about that).
Audio: Better than Fly6 Gen2 - a little more clarity than previous Gen 2 version.
Battery: Probably the most disappointing. Clearly inferior to previous version Gen2.
Running Time (typical): At 1080@30fps, + light mode flashing (low), the unit camera expires after approximately 2hrs 50mins, the flashing will continue for another 20mins before the unit shuts down completely.
To get more ride time, I consequently run only in camera mode on the Fly 6 Gen 3 and use a separate rear light that has significantly longer running time.
Summary: I agonised between 2 or 3 stars as I like that the product is Australian and want to support Australian products - a rear camera is very useful for a cyclist but the performance is limiting. I would struggle to wholeheartedly recommend to friends knowing that there are some significant limitations.
