“Bought a GoPro to do a similar type of job but the camera battery only lasts about three hours then saw the fly six pro advertised and decided to give it a go”
“This is a great camera and love the updated version that now allows you to view it directly to your phone. Extended battery life is great and lots of light options. ONe small thing is that on poor surfaces the battery/SD card door pops open due to the bikes excessive movement and in the UK the roads are appalling. I had to close the door about 6 times on a recent ride, at least the alarm goes off telling you that its open”
“The Camera does what its meant too very well.... Maybe better buttons , and the save button could be a different color to make it easi to find ...
an upgrade
Make it so the Android phone app can see footage a quick edit it , for Police on the scene of an accident ...
A bluetooth controller on the Handlebar is a must, saves having to stop to save a incident or near miss ....”
“Excellent battery life. Attaching the Fly6 is a bit fiddly as the mounting moves. I had to delete the old Fly 3 from the app before the Fly 6 would connect via Bluetooth.”
“Definitely an improvement over the previous model, which I also own. The battery life is 2-3 longer than the original; the strap and tether inspire more confidence. However, I don't understand why it has two lights: one good one would be sufficient. The thing that irks me most about it is the visibility and tactility of the buttons, especially with the silicon case fitted. If the ambient light is at all low, and/or you have long fingered gloves on, you cannot feel nor see the power on button, and have to look directly at it to turn the unit on. It's a bit of a chunky boy, which I suppose is a result of the bigger battery. The connectivity to the app is much improved, and you can check the battery level without turning it on (& starting another video file), & wirelessly view the videos it has recorded.”
