“The clarity with the Fly6 Pro is so much better. Last week I had someone in the passenger seat yell at me to ride on the F---ing bike trail ! When I returned home and reviewed the log there was a nice clear picture of his mug ! The parkway I was riding on posts signs warning drivers to give 3 feet when passing cyclists and I was within 3 inches of the edge white line. It's nice to know I have a record if anything more would have happened. Can't wait for the Fly12 to go 4K.”
“I’m a long time customer so I’ve seen the products improve over the years. This iteration is a home run in my opinion. Camera quality is great, I love the display window showing what mode I’m in, the light options are perfect and the battery life is phenomenal! I have yet to be able to out ride the battery. For example just got back from a 5 hour road ride and I was in “organic” mode the entire ride and when I got home it still had 23% left….this is truly amazing! I highly recommend the Fly6 Pro.
I also enjoy the Fly12 and my guess is the super long battery life will make it into the next update on that one and I’ll be the first in line.”
“At face value, this device does what it says it does on the advertising. I had a previous generation Fly6 which had Firmware issues where the device randomly decided to switch the light modes back on again, despite my preference to run my cameras in "Camera only" mode for best battery life. The Fly6 Pro does not appear to suffer from this. I am also gratified to see that the battery life is drastically improved over the previous model, however I am disappointed that it is not nearly as battery efficient as the Fly12. If you're going to make a bulkier camera that infringes on my rear fender when I attach it to the rack mount, then you can at least make the battery life comparable to the front camera so the charge cycles are the same, and not out of sync.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE with your next product development, make a "Camera only" device. I have NEVER used the flashing lights on your products, I much prefer to run a separate light to maximize camera battery.
Also, as always, your products are EXPENSIVE. Please make them more cost effective! I had to wait for this to go on sale before I even considered buying. But I consider dash cams a "Must" as I have been attacked on my commute home, and dash-cam footage secured an arrest and a conviction against my attacker.”
