“The video captured is very clear and stable. The bike ligths are also clear and visibility are sharp. Battery quite reasonable to last for a ride. However, the user interface for wifi connection is poor. You need to do several attempt until you can get the wifi signal from the flypro6 unit to be connected to your phone. It is not seamless and this need to improve further. Its quite disappointinf for a high price point of this rearcam camera with the capabilty for wifi connection.”
“Much more solid feeling than the fly 6 gen 3, with longer battery life though still inadequate. I have gotten 5.5 hours of run time with camera only, but in my opinion should be at least 8. I like being able to review the footage on my phone via the web. I bought the cover and would not do so again, and the lens protection, but got 3 instead of the needed 4. I have ridden 10 rides, and hope not to have charging issues like I did with the gen 3 two times”

“I preordered this and was excited to try it out since i have had good experience with their fly12 sport. The spec sheet looks very similar with the fly12 sport too but i had to return my fly6 pro likely due to defect. My experience might not be like yours but i think mine had some defect and the customer service was nice enough to let me return it. I tested the device a few times under 4K/2k 30fps and HD. I tested it mostly before dawn and one-hour post dawn. I also mount the light in the front without using any of its light setting, simply just recording. The videos quality no matter what settings i put (with EIS on) came out very grainy and turns 5000k-6000k temperature into around 3000-4000k yellow ish tint. Grainy videos are never fun to look at because of all the background noise. When there is enough sunlight, the camera does capture better but the color temperature still the same. Other than these issues, i did like how long lasting the battery is. It is a bit more bulky but it has a good design. I personally did not enjoy using it maybe because mine was defective. I hope yours isn’t.”
“Great product but too heavy - added significant weight from the Fly6 Gen 2. I get there is a trade-off with battery life and weight, but I think this is not practical for a serious road cyclist.”
