The small backpack is just the right size for my daily carry of a 13inch MacBook Pro, notebooks, charging cables, a bunch of pens, water bottle (love that side compartment!), umbrella, and even a sweatshirt!
You can really pack a lot in there!
Aesthetics and materials are great as well. I love how my bag looks when I leave it open next to my desk (that way the other things I’m not currently using stay out of the way but still organized and in reach. The muted blue color of the lining is beautiful.
I also love that it doesn’t have flappy straps.
One thing I’m not really using is the small side pocket (not the waterproof pocket but the other side). It seems kind of too small. I wanted to put my passport in when I was traveling, but it didn’t fit.
I’d be interested in checking out the larger version for travel purposes. But the small version seems to handle my daily carry needs.
One downside is that it isn’t the most comfortable when packed full and carried on longer walks. The straps have venting but the back does not, and I’ve found it can get a little sticky on a humid summer day. I’m still perfecting the fit to get the most ergonomic and comfortable placement… it’s been a little tricky to find the right spot.
