“I quite like this capsule, it has definitely helped with digestion. I’m much more regular now, whilst before I was consistently constipated for days. I’ll be going ahead with the 6 month supply, as I believe the benefits will continue to build over time.
I’m giving 4 stars because, whilst I was hoping for a ‘wow’ impact on my mood and energy levels, the changes have been more subtle. I struggle with winter blues every year, and although I’m gradually feeling better now - thanks to the sunshine in London, these capsules and more movement - it’s hard to say exactly how much is due to each.
I think my gut is still adjusting to these though. For example, if I take them on an empty stomach, I feel nauseous after 30min - 1h. Taking them with food helps a little, but I still feel slightly uneasy. That said, I’m not too concerned, as I had a similar experience with probiotics from Holland & Barrett. The difference is that with those, the nausea disappeared completely when taken with food, whereas with these, I still notice it a bit even during the day.
All in all, this makes me think that these have a stronger effect and better potency than the H&B ones. I’m convinced the nausea will pass over time, and I take it as a sign that my gut needs this support. At least I’m no longer constipated, which is huge for me. For now, I’m taking these primarily to stay regular, and I’m hopeful things will continue to improve from here.”
