I'm using as a double check on my pellet grill, currently. I eventually will be using it on a gravity feed smoker. This is why I purchased FireBoard 2 Pro

Been functionality working great after shutting off the LID feature. Had to dig to figure it out. With on, could not get smoker to work as the LID feature would shut off fan when all LID switches are engaged. Also has great graphs when LID feature was used but when off, all I get is temp. I have a Masterbuilt 1050 smoker. I by passed the swith prior to disabling the LID but that did not help. One other thing is screen defaults on in one direction when flat and have to shake to flip the readout. Connections for prode face the smoker but screen comes on and sometimes flip reading upside-down.

Bought the pro 2 to controll my new gravity series smoker. I have used it on multiple cooks and it has worked flawless. This is my 3rd Fireboard.

Took a bit to hook up to my MB800 and had to fabricate my own mount to install the Fireboard fan. But seems well worth it. Maintains temp well.

It was AWESOME for about a year until the unit failed. When things go wrong, you can’t call Fireboard, only email and they take their time getting back to you with single sentence responses.

I have been a BBQ GURU fan for years but the newer UltraQ simply cannot keep connected to the wifi so I finally replaced it with a Fireboard 2 Pro. The fireboard works perfectly with WiFi and causes me no issues at all. The probes are much higher quality and the Fireboard works perfectly with my pit viper blower. My only complaint is there is no ramp feature in the software.

After a couple of years trying to get through a cook without problems with my Ultra Q controller, I finally gave up and did some research. Everything came back to Fireboard so I started reading reviews and watching videos on the three options. I eventually settled on the pro series since I tend to get lazy and crank up the heat after a few hours of smoke. Doing this has ruined several pit probes and meat probes. My main concern was finding a controller that connects to my wifi automatically and doesn't crash several times during a cook. I used the Fireboard pro yesterday and it worked flawlessly. I was able to check the temps regularly while away from home. I'm certainly no professional chef, I'm just a guy that occasionally uses his smoker and wants it to perform as described. My only issue is that Fireboard doesn't offer an adapter for the Weber Summit Charcoal. I had intended to make an adapter myself. Before I did anything, I plugged my existing fan into the port and it work. I appreciate that Fireboard didn't make it so proprietary that other fans wouldn't work with the controller. I highly recommend this product.
