“I’ve begun using these recently as I suffer from scalp psoriasis and am relieved to find these dyes do not aggravate it!y natural colour now is almost completely white. I mix Barley and toasted Wheat together for my perfect pale blonde colour. Definitely recommend.”

“I have been using these water colours for over 10 years. I take them to my hairdressers who applies the colour to my hair using warm water. I had to find a gentle product after suffering with sebherroric dermatitis but still wanting to cover up my grey hair. Great coverage and a happy scalp. Please see before and after photos.”

“I've used Water Colour (4.0) for c. 18 years! The new gel gives an even more vivid colour & in less time & I'm really happy with it. It fades a little bit between uses, but I also like that, as it doesn't give such a jarring root line. See photos for before & after my last use. I'd gone 8 weeks between applications (usually 6). The customer care & advice is also fantastic. They are always so very friendly & helpful, with great suggestions & tips re. colour choice, how to prepare hair & product, how to apply it, timings, etc.. I love that it is free from lots of common compounds in dyes too & wouldn't use anything else.”

“I wasn't sure about the change from powder to gel as I'd used the powder for years. But the gel is great and easy to use and I found a colour that was fairly similar to the light blonde powder - 'toffee'. I'd say the only downside to the change is the much more limited range of colours. However, it's easy to use, there's more of it, and it lasts really well.”

“I mixed a tube of 9/3 Golden Barley with a quarter tube of 8/33 and got my perfect shade of mid strawberry blonde. It was applied to light blonde/grey hair. I'm very pleased with the result and hope it's lasts well!”
